BLOMFIELD AND DAVIS DRAW BOTH MEN KNOCKED OUT (Per United Press Association) DANNEVIRKE, Oct. 5. After heavy jolting, both Blomfield and Davis connected with hefty hits to the jaw soon after the sixth round commenced in their match on Saturday evening. Each was knocked oat, and both lay on the mat dazed and took the count, a vigorous contest ending in a draw. It was some time before they came to. Prior to the double knock-out each had secured a fall—Davis in the second round with jolts and a body press, and Blomfield in the fifth after dazing Davis with three vigorous flying tackles. GEORGE BEATS WOODS (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Oct. 5. Ed Don George, one of the world's greatest professional wrestlers, made his New Zealand debut to-night, when he defeated Joe Kopach Woods by two falls to one. George gained the first fall in the third round with a body press following a light slam, the pair having previously exchanged' forearm jolts. Woods evened the score in the fifth round in a similar manner after having sent his opponent through the ropes with forearm jolts. George ended the contest in the sixth round with a press after felling Woods with forearm jolts and slamming him heavily several times.
