GOOD TEMPLARY

The Rescue Lodge (1.0.G.T.) held its weekly meeting on Tuesday last. Chief Templar Bro. M'Curdy presided over an excellent attendance of members. The Grand Chief Templar Bro. W. A. lies, G.L. officers, P.G.L. officers and special deputies paid their first official visit and were heartily welcomed. Greetings were conveyed from the Star of Wellington Lodge. Tha following officers responded:—Bro. W. es <G.C.T.), Bro. Campbell (G.C.), Bro. Mercer (S.D.) and Sis. Beath (P.G.C.). The programme for the evening was "Sister Lodges* Visit," greetings being conveyed from All Nations Lodge. Sis. lies reported on the Star of the South Juvenile Temple. A game of shuffle board was played and community singing was held by the younger members. The Star of the South Juvenils Temple held its weekly meeting on Tuesday last. Chief Templar Sis. E. Gibbs presided over an excellent attendance of members, with Supt. Bro. T. Brooks in charge. Sis. Mrs lies, the official visitor from the Rescue Lodge, was welcomed. The final of the apple competition was held, Bro. Leithly being the winner. Pledge tests were made, the following being successful:—Chief Templar Sis. E. Gibbs, Chaplain Sis. P. Hollick, Secretary Sis. P. Bundo, P.C.T. Sis. E. Anderson. The superintendent gave greeting from Roslyn Temple, Star of Victory.
