(Per United Press Association) OTAKI, Oct. 5. Members of the Foresters' Lodge, numbering nearly 100, took part in the opening of a court at Olaki on Saturday night. Seventeen candidates were initiated. The Community Stores were burglariously entered late on Saturday night or early on Sunday morning. About £8 worth of tobacco was taken, with Creamoata and soap, etc. The til : was untouched. ASHBURTON, Oct. 5. Leonard Frederick Martin, mokn mechanic, was fined £5 and his licencecancelled till the end of the motoring year for being drunk in charge of * car. The case was the result of a col' lision on the Main South road at Tin' wald last night.
