NATIVE BUSH

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—lt is very pleasing to find that at last some of our public men are realising what has happened to our native bush and I am sorry to say is still happening in our own city. I refer to Mr Parry’s remarks in your to-day’s issue and Mr Munro’s inquiry at the last meeting of the City Council. I trust that before long something will be done to stop further destruction. Our “ King Pins ” will surely not grudge the little that is left.—l am, etc.. September 30. Native.
