THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY
PROPOSED FORTY-HOUR WEEK STATED TO BE IMPRACTICABLE LONDON, Sept. 28. The International Cotton Committee, including English and Japanese representatives, reaffirmed that a 40hour week in the textile industry is impracticable. A slight general production improvement was reported.
