I would be pleased if you would publish the enclosed, an extract from the account of the meeting in question, as reported in your columns, March 6, 1030.—1 am, etc.. Progress. Mosgiel, June 11. The chairman said they had met to consider the question of public baths tor the town. . . Details of baths erected in other inland towns were men'ioned. . . The Borough Council could not undertake the work at present. A loan might he obtained, but he doubted if the Board would approve of it. The council however, would give any assistance it could. He expressed the hope that the proposal would become an accomplished fact.
