BRIGADE NOTES RESIGNATION. District-officer Miss E. M. Harborow relinquishes her appointment as secretary to the district staff and is transferred to the brigade reserve, April, 1930. ANZAC DAY DUTIES. Officers and members were, as usual, on duty at the variolic local services, as well as the Cenotaph parade and the Town Hall service. The cases were very few this year, as smaller crowds and inclement weather reduced the common fainting cases to a minimum. The Arizao church parade at the Central Mission or Sunday, April 28, was well attended by some -80 officers and members, under the command of Corpssuperintendent J. C. White. Colonel G. Barclay, chief commissioner for the Dominion, and Mrs Barclay also attended, and on the conclusion of the service conducted by the Rev. L. B, Neale, the chief commissioner inspected the parade and thanked all for turning out in such numbers. A section of the brigade also attended the service at St. Joseph's Cathedral. COMPLIMENTARY SOCIAL. At a well-attended meeting of officers held at headquarters on Thursday evening last a strong committee was formed, with Ambulance-officer George Swanson as convener, to arrange a complimentary social for the competition teams from Otago at the New Zealand competitions held in Auckland at Easter. This function will take place in the Hillside Social Hall, Cargill road, on May 25, at 8 p.m., and all members are invited to bo present. A small charge of Cd will be made to cover expenses. APPOINTMENTS. The following appointments have been approved by the chief commissioner for the Dominion:Otago District.—Lieutenant-colonel Y. H. Morey to be acting assistant commissioner vice Lieutenant-colonel R. A. H. Fulton to the reserve. Dunedin Corps.—Miss E. L. Applogarth to be lady corps superintendent. Dunedin Cadet Ambulance Division.— William Spence to be cadet superintendent. .
