CHILD’S BODY RECOVERED (Per United Press Association) TAUMARUNUI, March 9. The body of the child of four years, Winnie Elliott, who was drowned in Ongaruc River at Taringamotu on January 31 last, was discovered yesterday by the child’s father. Jack Elliott. The body was partly covered with silt, and was found a mile below the spot where the tragedy occurred. MOTOR CYCLISTS DEATH (Per United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH. March 0. Suffering severe injuries to the head in a collision between the motor cycle he was riding and a taxi in Queen street, Sydenham, Christchurch, yesterday morning, Arthur Clegg, a married man, of 100 Sawyer’s Arms road, died in the Christchurch Public Hospital last night.
