Broadley (Taieri) v. W. J. Smith (University); G. Jolly (N.E. Valley) v. N. Chisholm (Waimana). WALKER CUP. First Round.—Miss G. Thompson (Waimana) v. (Roslyn); Miss F. Simpson (St. Peter's) v. Mies D. Grigg (Caversham); Miss Somerville (Balmacewan) v. Anderson's Bay); Miss N. O'Halloran (Nga Maara) v. Mies J. Hope (First Church); (Cosy Dell i v. Miss R. Barton (St. Kilda); (Macandrew'B Bay) v. (Kaituna); Miss C. Williams (St. Patrick's) v. Miss A. Beckley (N.E. Valley); (Opoho) a bye; Miss M. Wilkie (St. Andrew's) v. (University); (St. Clair) v. Miss S. Dyer (Taieri); Miss Brewer (Moana v. Miss D. Chrystall (Otago). The first round is to be completed by March 16, and the second round by March 24. Clubs which have not advised the names of their champions will forfeit the match if it is not played by March 16. Players are to make their own arrangements for meeting. All matches are to be the best of three sets, the third set advantage.
