THE FRANKLIN MEETING

(Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND, March 6.

Good fields are carded tor the Franklin Racing Club's meeting at Pukekohe, and there should be some very interesting racing. The weather outlook appears doubtful, but unless there is rain the going should be excellent. The betting will be under the win and place system, and horses likely to be well supported include: —

12.0.—Waiuku Hack Handicap: Cappy, Ringshot, Dancing Lady. 12.43. —Bombay Handicap: Mainland, Red Flame, Stormy Weather. I.2s.—Puni Hurdles: British Columbia, Huskie, Galilee. 2.12. —Franklin Cup: Nun Nicer, Enge, Prince Colossus.
