CRIPPLED CHILDREN
PROGRESS OF NUFFIELD FUND ORIGINATOR EXPRESSES SATISFACTION (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 5. Lord Nuffield returned to Auckland to-day after a yachting cruise as the guest of the Mayor of Auckland, MiErnest Davis. He will leave for Sydney to-morrow. Referring to his brief holiday, Lord Nuffield said he would return home with an increased desire to spend a prolonged holiday here when his business responsibilities permitted. "I have learned with much satisfaction that considerable progress has been made since my last visit in alleviating the sufferings of the unfortunate crippled children of the Dominion," Lord ftumelcl said "1 warmlv commend this service to the neople of" New Zealand. May 1 take this opportunity of saying how much I appreciate the invaluable help which has been given by Mr C. B. Norwood in connection with the administration of the fund which I established when 1 was here last year, and I would like additionally to thank all those who have been associated with him in this work.
