TRADE NEGOTIATIONS

BRITAIN AND DENMARK (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, March 4. (Received March 5, at 5.5 p.m.) Negotiations for framing the new Anglo-Danish trade agreement, which will open on Monday, were resumed at the Board of Trade yesterday, and the discussions are likely to occupy some time. It is understood that the immediate problem is that of arranging, if possible, some modification of Danish foreign exchange control policy in order to provide funds for larger immediate importation into Denmark of British manufactures. The present agreement will expire on June 20, and it is anticipated that some temporary {.greeiiient will be drafted to govern trade relations until the new treaty takes shape later in the year.
