A HOME IN KENT

COLONEL AND MRS LINDBERGH LONDON, March 4. (Received March 5, at. 10.30 p.m.) The Sun-Herald Agency says Colonel and Mrs Lindbergh have taken a lovely historic mansion in the old world village of Weald, in Kent, to which they will shortly move with their son John. It is a typical English country house with 18 rooms, oak beams, a rose garden, lawns, swimming pool and tennis court. The house contains a secret room supposed to be haunted by Caxton, who comes in the moonlight and erects a printing press in the room in which he was born. Wellwishers hope there is no significance in the coincidence in the Lindberghs having fled from America to escape press publicity and now retiring in a place haunted' by the inventor of the printing machine.
