WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION \ MASEFIELD’S GREAT PERFORMANCE (Peb United Press Association) MASTERTON, March 4. Marksmen from Whangarei to Invercargill competed in the Wairarapa Rifla Association's meeting to-day. W. N. Masefield, the well-known Blenheim rifle shot, put up a wonderful performance, winning the Bidwill Memorial Challenge Belt and the shield for the Championship Grand Aggregate, the Maunsell Challenge Cup for the highest aggregate at COO yards, 800 yards and 900 yards, the Buchanan Memorial Challenge Cup for the highest aggregate at 300 yards. 500 yards and 600 yards, and the Rivers Challenge Cup for the highest aggregate at 800 yards and 900 Yards. The Walden Challenge Cup for the Handicap Aggregate was won by R. G. Gray (Okato. New Plymouth). Results: — SERVICE MATCH. - (300 yards.) £2 —D. S.
