DEATH OF MOTOR CYCLIST TORCH USED AS HEADLIGHT (Pek United Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 15. "I am satisfied that the mam cause ot this accident was the deficiency of the motor cycle’s light, which could not be seen by the motor driver,” said the coroner, -Mr Gilbertson, at the conclusion of the inquest on the body of Colin Martin Fraser, aged 21, who died in hospital on December 21 after his motor cycle had collided with a car driven by Dr O’Regan on Happy Valley road the previous night. “This thing,” said the coroner, holding up a torch which, according to the evidence, was the motor cyclist’s only light, “almost invites disaster, 1 am satisfied that the doctor was not to blame. He found accordingly.
