MAYOR’S RELIEF ORGANISATION CHILDREN’S BEACH PICNIC. The beach picnic for children of the unemployed will he held at St. Clair beach, commencing on Saturday next and finishing on Monday, February 3. Free tram tickets and beach tickets for the supply of cordials, biscuits, ice cream and sweets for the children, will be issued from the central office, 24a George street (above Hannah’s boot shop), from Monday next until Saturday. Depot cards must be produced when making application for these tickets. Where it Is necessary for the children to be accompanied by one of their parents, tram tickets will be issued for one adult for each family. Mrs M'Arthur will be in attendance daily on the St. Clair beach, and children can leave their beach tickets in her care on arrival at the beach. The child's name should he first written on the back of the ticket. Hot water and milk will be available every day during the currency of the picnic.
