NEXT OLYMPIC GAMES
AMERICANS TO COMPETE CHICAGO, October 24. (Received Oct. 25, at 10 p.m.) “ Sportsmen in America will not tolerate the use of athletics as a means of transporting Old World hatreds to this country,” declared Mr Avery Brundage, president of the American Olympic Association, stating- positively that teams representing America; would compete at the Olympic yGames. Mr Brundage said his views represented the feelings of the leaders of 70 organisations affiliated with amateur athletics in America.
