MINERS AND WIDOWS (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, October 25. Back pay warrants for the recipients of widows’ and miners’ pensions to whom Parliament has restored from August 1 the rate payable before the “ cuts wore completed yesterday. Early next week the pensioners, numbering about 4400 widows and 793 miners, should be able to receive from the paying offices the amount of the increase to which they are entitled. -Warrants in favour of payment to between 7000 and 8000 Avar pensioners of “the H per cent, increase from August 1 have also been completed, and payment wUI be made next week-
