PRINCE STARHEMBERG

POLICY MADE CLEAR STAND OR FALL WITH ITALY LONDON, October 21. The Financial News says that, with Major Fey's removal, Austria's economic assistance to Italy is only limited by her resources. Austro-Italian negotiations are proceeding with a view to liquidating 250,000,000 lire of Austria's debts to Italy as payment for exports to Italy. Prince Starhemberg made it abundantly clear that he intends to stand or fall with Italy, which precludes a formidable bloc with Germany and Poland. Nevertheless, the reduction in the number of the Government's supporters to a mere handful by the reshufflle renders Austria again a political danger spot.
