DENOUNCED BY EGYPT
TRADE TREATY WITH JAPAN LONDON, July 18. The Egyptian Government has denounced the commercial treaty with Japan, whose imports' henceforth will be subject to higher duties. Lancashire expects a speedy improvement in trade with Egypt. The exports of piecogoods were once 2,000,000,000 yards a year, but slumped to 43,000,000 last year, while Japanese imports into Egypt increased from 4 1, 000,000 yards to 148.000,000.
