In the semi-finals Miss Wenda Morgan defeated Miss Jessie Anderson, 2 and 1 ; Miss Pam Barton defeated her sister, Miss Mervyn Barton, 2 and 1 Miss Pamela-Barton reached the final of the Women’s Golf Championship for the second year in succession. She was 5 up and 0 to play against her sister, but Miss Mervyn Barton won the next four balls before burying her ball in a bunker.
