END OF AN ART SCHOOL

The famous Art School of Nagybanya has fallen on evil times. This school, which produced the famous painters of a generation, received a high subvention from the Hungarian Government. Since Nagybanya passed to Rumania the subvention has dwindled, and the buildings have fallen into disrepair. The director of the school has issued an appeal to the public to save the school from being •dosed down.
