ACTION ENDORSED

THE NOTTS COMMITTEE RESULT OF ELECTION LONDON, April 9. Voting for the Notts Committee was carried out by letter, and resulted in a triumph for the old committee. Neither Mr Adams nor Mr Woolley (chairman and vice-chairman of the opposition group) was elected. Only two of their 14 nominations were elected —namely, Carr and Sir Harold Bowden. Those elected include Messrs M'Graith and Huntsman. Only one member of the old commit tee was not elected. The result endorses the committee’s condemnation of direct attack bowling.
