MR LYONS’S MISSION VISIT TO ROME OMITTED LONDON, March 12. In view of the urgency of the meat question Mr Lyons is omitting his Rome visit. He will arrive in London on March 22, overland from Villefranche. CANCELLATION OF PERMITS SYDNEY, Marcfi 13. (Received March 13, at 9 p.m.) Cancellation of the meat export permits is expected to lead to the dismissal of upwards of (100 meat workers, and it will seriously affect the employment of waterside workers.
