KENSINGTON SCHOOL

DIAMOND JUBILEE In connection with the forthcoming diamond jubilee, a general meeting of ex-pupils of the Kensington School was held on Monday night, the chairman (Mr H. A. Foote) presiding over a large attendance. Ho welcomed many new members to the meeting, especially mentioning Mrs Ledgerwood, of Deborah Bay, who was a pupil of the first decade, and Mr P. Stewart, who was for many, years headmaster of the school. The chairman gave a resume of the work covered since the last general meeting, and the conveners of the respective subcommittees reported fully on their various activities. A detailed programme was presented for consideration and was approved after a few slight amendments had been made. Arrangements were completed for the banquet, ball, church service, picnic and sports, and jubilee concert. It was decided to send a further circular to ex-pupils, giving them detailed information regarding the several functions to be held during the celebrations,-
