LORD MONTAGU

JOINING FOREIGN LEGION f DUNKIRK, February 14. _ Lord Edward Montagu has enlisted in the Foreign Legion for five years’ service. He said he preferred the Aviation Corps, but the tough life did not matter. His enlistment must be sanctioned by headquarters at Toni, where he will undergo a medical examination. Thereafter he will be drafted to Algiers.

A message received on August 4 last year stated that Lord Edward Montagu, who flew to Dunkirk to join the Foreign Legion, and who was told that he could not enlist until he brought papers, changed his mind overnight and returned to England.
