i PREVENTIVE MEASURES GERMANY’S ATTITUDE LONDON, February 15. (Received Feb. 15, at 11.55, p.m.) The, News-Chronicle's Berlin . correspbndent says: “A semi-official statement declares that Germany’s reply to -the Anglo-French proposals shows that Germany adopts a ‘ positive attitude ’ to. the efforts to prevent an armaments race and banish all danger of war. It emphasises Germany’s desire for peace and pays. a warm tribute to Britain’s endeavours to achieve a settlement.”
