Dymond 6—4, 6—3. ; THE SOUTHLAND TOURNAMENT (Per United Press Association) INVERCARGILL, December 28. The Southland Lawn Tennis Association's tournament was concluded to-day. The remaining championship finals resulted as follows: Women's Singles.—Miss D.. Baikie (North Otago) defeated Miss M. Rein (Invercargill) B—6, 6—4. Men's Doubles.—G. A. Pearce and J. Rawlinson (Dunedin) defeated L. Cockerill and R. M'Callum (Invercargill) 7—5, 9—ll, 6—2, B—6. HASTINGS CHAMPIONSHIPS. (Per United Press Association) NAPIER, December, 28. Glorious weather has been experienced for the Hastings lawn tennis championships, which have been in progress for three days. The following finals were plaved this afternoon: — Men's Singles.—N. R. C. Wilson (Hastings) beat R. D. Sharpe (Hastings) 6—l, 6—2. Women's Singles. Mrs Milburn (Hawke's Bay) beat Miss M. Budd (Hastings) 6—3, 3—6, 6—o. Men's Doubles.—N. R. C. Wilson and E. F. Page (Wellington) beat D. Ritchie and J. D. Ormond (Waipukurau) 6 —3, Women's' Doubles.—Mesdames Cotterill (Hastings) and Milburn (Hawke's Bay) beat Misses Glenny (Hastings) and Hickes (Napier) 6—5, 6—l.
