At the international athletic meeting at Toensberg, on a heavy track, the 1500 Metres was won by Lovelock in Smin 45 2-ssec. He . completely outran his opponents in an excellent race. , In the 400 Metres Rathbone won easily in 51 l-ssec. The 200 Metres was won by Horsfall in 22Jsec. The 1000 Metres Relay was won by Lovelock, Rathbone, Horsfall, and Townsend in Imin 21 9-10 sec, Rathbone, the last runner, beating Carson (Norway) by a fraction of a second-
