For the Gonville Hurdles Count Lendroff was scratched at 10.30 this morning. Synagogue was scratched at noon for the Wanganui Guineas. \ THE REDLOCK; CASE MELBOURNE, September 14. After further inquiries into the ease in which the, horse Redloek is concerned, the police arrested a man at Tallangatln on a charge of conspiracy. Inquiries are also being made in New Zealand. At Adelaide, Charles Prince was charged With obtaining £ls from the Murray Bridge Racing Club by falsely pretending that a certain horse entered by lain in the Trial Stakes was a racehorse knoWn as Redloek. A previous message stated —C. Prince, owner and trainer of a horse called Redlock, and the horse have been disqualified for life by the South Australian Jockey Club stewards. As he left the inquiry room, Prince was arrested by detectives and later charged with having obtained stake money at Murray Bridge by falsely pretending that a certain horse was Redlock. The horse was impounded. It is alleged that the horse which won the race was Erbie. The real Redloek is now at Malrasbury, Victoria.
