ADDINGTON TRACK WORK

Ideal conditions prevailed for the training operations at Addington on Thursday. The track was well harrowed on the previous afternoon, and was good going. Mountain Dell was sent two miles,,and completed the trip in 4min 50sec. Young did the first mile.of a two-mile journey in 2min 21sec, and the full distance in 4min 42sec.

Explosion got over a mile and a-quarter in 3min lOsec. Iraq, Ramaroa, and General_ Wrack covered a mile and a-half in 3min SSsec, doing the first mile in 2min 24sec. Oharteris Yale was sent two miles and got to the end of it in 4miil 52sec. Agility went a mile and a-half in Smin 34 2-saec.

Indianapolis was allotted a serviceable task, travelling over a mile and a-half in 3min 39sec.

Graham Direct, Tangatu, and Golden Direct started of? together. At the end of a mile and a-qnarter, done in "min 3 2-ssec, Golden Direct pulled off. The other, two went on and completed two miles'in Smin Gsec.

Happi WCut well over a mile and aqnarter. He did the first mile in 2min 30sec and the 10 furlongs in Smin 4sec. A good Work-out was provided by Hollo and Attorney, who set out on a two-mile trip, and were joined at the mile, and aqnarter .by Blandford and Sylvia Sydney. Blandford ’j and Rolio .finished together half 1 a length in front of the others, Rollo’s time Avas 4min 43sec, and that of Blandford 2min 53sec, 7 , ■

Agild avos responsible fop the best effort of tile iiiormug. He gave Ezywurk a start in a mile and a-half trip. The first mile Avas done in 2min l3sec, and Agile finished his task.Jn 3inin 23sec. The trotter Walter Wrack impressed favourably When doing the last half-mile of a Wile and a-half work-out in Imin 9sec.

Paragon got over a niile and a-half in Smin 27sec, the first mile in 2miu 20sec.

Two miles were coA’ered by Little Rita in 4min 52sec.

Trampfasl and Grace M'ElAvyh set off together. When a mile ahd a-half had been done in Smin 2Ssec Grace M’Elwyn pulled off. Trdmpfast did a mile and three-quarters in 4min 4sec. A maiden to please AVas Bhoelacb, who did the first mile of her Avork in 2min 14sec. '

CoinpasS Avent a mile and a-half in Smin 36sec. Dundee Avas going strongly ih a mile and a-quarter trip, Avhich took Smin 60sec.

Triangle got to the end of tAA’o miles in Siffin.
