ROYAL DUNEDIN MALE CHOIR

On Monday, September 10, the Royal Dunedin Male Choir will present another of its popular concerts in the Town Hall. The choir offerings will be “A Song to David,” a recent composition by a Dunedin composer, Mr J. C. Easton, who has made a gift of his work to the society; “Sigh No More, Ladies” (arranged by Dunhill) ; a bracket of glees and folk songs, “ Cloud-capp'd Towers” (Roberton) and “Bobby Shnftoe” (arranged by Whittaker); “The Rising Storm” Neumann); “Queen of tbe Night (Smct) : “ Calero Cushne Me” (arranged by S. Taylor Harris), in which Messrs W. Pyfe and Cecil S. Hawes will be heard as soloists ; and “ 0 Song of the Bow ” (Aylward). It will bo seen that patrons are offered a programme of outstanding merit. Mr W. Mills and Mr E. Bond will be the choir soloists and the Neumann part song has a part for a double quartet. Miss Alison Tyric will present solos by Saint-Saens and Schubert, and Miss Elvira Wycherley will be heard in ’cello solos. The box plan arrangements are advertised.
