THRILL IN MID-AIR PILOT MAKES PERFECT LANDING VANCOUVER, August 30. A Waxahachie (Texas) message states that Bozo, a synthetic rainmaker, tossed a bomb from an aeroplane at 1200 feec. The machine caught fire on the wiug, and the pilot dived desperately for the earth as Bozo threw the three remaining bombs, being severely burned. Whilo the crowd gasped and the newsreels clicked the pilot made a perfect landing in a cotton field. One wing fell off. The occupants scrambled out as the are enveloped and consumed the machine.
