The temperature at 4 p.m. was 50.2 degrees, and the maximum, during the day was 52.8 CHRISTCHURCH, August 28. The weather to-day was again fine and sunny, with a light north-easterly breeze, the barometer was high and steady this afternoon at 30.35.
