THE WEATHER
Dunedin experienced perfect spring weather yesterday, the sun shining from a clear, sky. There was no, wind, and the maximum temperature was 50 degrees. REPORTS FROM THE NORTH. (Special to. Daily Times) AUCKLAND. August 28 Except for a light shower during the afternoon, the weather was fine to-day, but the sky was cloudy and threatening, the wind being light from the north. The barometer rose to 30.55 in during the morning, but was steady at SO.nOin after, iniddav. WELLINGTON, August 28. Wellington experienced another fine sunny day, although a fairly fresh north-west wind prevailed. The temperature at 4 p.m. was 50.2 degrees, and the maximum, during the day was 52.8 CHRISTCHURCH, August 28. The weather to-day was again fine and sunny, with a light north-easterly breeze, the barometer was high and steady this afternoon at 30.35.
