OWNERS ELECTED TO COMMITTEE. (Pe« (United Pbess Association.) AUCKLAND, July 31. Much interest in the elections for both the committee and the stewards was shown at the annual meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club. An owners ticket was put forward, including Mr M. J. Moodabbe and Dr M. G. Pezaro, who were both successful in gaining seats on the committee. Mr-John Rowe, president of the club for the past 27 years, and Mr H. Morpeth, vice-president, who, during Mr Rowe’s-illness has carried out many of - the duties of the president, were both defeated.
