RACING APPEALS
DISQUALIFICATIONS REDUCED (Per United Press association.) WELLINGTON, July 31. The decision of the Racing Conference judges was given to-day in the cose of K. A. Powell and the horse Bronze Tray, the case of C.-R. Powell, and the case of L. H. Watson. ' , 'll. A. Powell applied for removal of the balance of the term of disqualification for three years as from December 3 t 193 w. imposed upon him and Bronze Tray, and C. R. Powell, applied to have the term of disqualification for life imposed upon him as from December 2,. 1932, reviewed and if possible lifted. The judgment in these two cases was as follows: — After consideration of all the circumstances the judges have decided to reduce the disqualification of R. A. Powell and the ; horse Bronze Tray so that it shajl expire on the third day of June, 1935, and that the disqualification of C. R. Powell be reduced to five years, expiring on the third day of December, 1937.” Watson applied for removal _or remission of, the term of disqualification for . seven years as from October 0. 1931. imposed upon him. The judgment ju this case was: “ In view of the economic conditions and Watson's circumstances and health, the judges eonsiher it reasonable to reduce Watson's disqualification to five years in. lieu of seven years as previously imposed, and do so accordingly.
