(Pee United Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, June 21. An allegation that a local body which he did not name was drawing monoy from the Unemployment Board under false pretences was made by Mr J. P. Whalen, representing the Relief Workers' Union, when the Minister of Employment (Mr Adam Hamilton) heard a deputation to-day. Mr Whalen said that relief workers were feeing employed at relief rates on many classes of work on which they could not rightfully be employed at relief rates. If that state of affairs were allowed to continue the unemployment problem would never be overcome. He also drew attention to the fact that some men held seats bolh on the local bodies and unemployment relief committees. The Minister noted the complaint, but made no comment.
