CONCERT AT HENLEY
The Commercial Travellers’ Variety Entertainers presented a concert at Henley on Thursday evening last. The programme was ae follows: —Opening chorus, the company; trio—Messrs Larkina, A. Blyth, and A. Pettit; contralto solo, Miss Dorothy Allan; monologue, Mr Clarence Payne; song, Mr S. Riggs; humorous song, Miss Vanda Duncan: Eastern novelty, Miss Wing; violin solo, Mr N, Larkins; humorous song, Mr G. Mearns; tenor solo, Mr A. Clarke; sketch, "P. 0.,” company; mystery Chinese temple, Chang Lu; humorous sketch, Messrs C. Payne and G. Mearns; song, Mies Wanda Duncan; lightning sketches, Miss Glena Mearns; ’cello solo, Mr A. Blyth; tenor solo, Mr A. Clarke; humorous song, Mr 6. Mearns. At the conclusion of the concert, Mr E. Smith, on behalf of the Civic Queen Committee, on whose behalf the concert was held, thanked the party, for its visit The evening concluded with an enjoyable dance.
