THE PRINCE OF WALES
ACCEPTANCE QF PRESIDENCY ENGLISH SPEAKING UNION. LONDON, June 19. (Received June 19, at 10 p.m.) The Prince of Wales has accepted the presidency of the English Speaking Union of the British Empire. As an ambassador of understanding the Prince has done more than any living man to promote friendship between the Englishspeaking nations, for which the union stands. The acceptance of the presidency is regarded as an appropriate and signal honour.
