Considerable interest is being manifested by the members of the Kurow Miniature Rifle Club in the weekly practice shoots, the following being the scores off the rifle of the latest shoot:—F. The annual meeting of the Kurow Jockey-Club was held on Monday evening, the president (Mr A. S. Cambridge) presiding over a good attendance of members. The annual report and balance sheet showed a satisfactory position, and in moving its adoption the president expressed pleasure at the result of the year 's operations. The following were the retiring oflicers, and there being no other nomination, all were re-elected with the addition of Mr L. Pavletich, replacing Mr A. MTnnes, who has left the district. President, Mr A. S. Cambridge; vice-pre-sident. Mr C. L. Ayson.i committee— Messrs W. F. Condon, W. Menzies. H. J. B. Munro, R. G. C. Munro, W._ G. iVl'Aughtric, and A. H. M'Kinnon: auditor, Mr C. A. Maude, in place of Mr R. C. M'Master, who has left the district. It was decided to donate one guinea to the R.S.P.C.A. The following stewards were appointed:—Messrs A. G. Fraser, W. G. M'Kinnon, H. J. Delargey, W. G. Munro, and A. F. T. Munro.
