(Received June 8, at 5.5 p.m.) It is announced that after June 16 Morgans will continue as a private bank and will discontinue .the underwriting and offering of securities. The Federal Banking Act of 1933 requires that institutions engaged in both deposit and securities business must choose one or the other by the date mentioned.
