CARNERA-BAER CONTEST COMMISSIONER'S STATEMENT CAUSES ALARM. NEW YORK, June 7. (Received June 8, at 7 p.m.) Boxing circles were startled when Mr Bill Brown, the State boxing commissioner, after watching Baer train, declared that the challenger was in no condition to fight Camera on June 14 and would urge his fellow commissioners to postpone the bout for at least a month. The Madison Square Garden management declares that Baer always looks bad when training but always put up a good fight.
