GOOD TEMPLARY

The weekly meeting of the Rescue Lodge was held on Tuesday lost, when Sis. M. Thomas, G.T., presided over a good attendance of members and visitors from sister lodges. The various working committees for the quarter were appointed. Sis. Mrs Giles and the executive officers of Dunedir District Lodge, No. 1, were accorded an official welcome. The officers of the district, who were responsible for the programme, were assisted by the following members:—Songs —Sisters Leishman, M‘Dougal, Mrs Donaldson, M. Coates, and Bros. Dalton, Hilton and Brooks; stories, Bro. Seque; duet, Sisters M. and R. Coates; recitation, Sis. E. Duncan. Fraternal greetings were received from the Beacon Light, Sir Wilford. and Zion Lodges, Liverpool, and also the Lily of Sydenham Juvenile Temple, Christchurch.
