HER ESPECIAL LITTLE SPOT
If "himself* has his corner of the fireside, it is only fair that you should have yours, too. Give yourself one of those well-cushioned easy chairs that unfold to make a kind of couch, and let your bureau fit into the recess at the side.
A folding table beside the bureau will be most useful, and you must also have one or two broad shelves to house your special books and magazines. Don't forget your work-basket. That will be really necessary to you. If you could arrange to place the chesterfield in front of the fire with your comfortable corners on either side, neither of you have to .turn out for chance visitors. The dining table can stand behind the chesterfield, or under the window. Make the most of your living room and you will be doing a lot towards making a happy home.
