RANFURLY NOTES
(From Our Own Correspondent.) RANFURLY, March 13, BOWLING.
Ranfurly met Naseby on the Naseby green last Saturday in the final match for the Johnnie Walker Cup, winning, by 17 to 14 and 26 to 24. Eanfurly thus holds the cup for the ensuing year, the following were the teams: —Naseby; Davis. Graham, Ravenwood. 0. Graham 24 Flynn, Berhens, Fox, Brown 14. Kanfurly: Loughran, Jones, Bandy, Beattie 17, Bell, Lenz, Templeton, Hanrahan 26.
FOOTBALL. A well-attended meeting of the Ranfurly Football Club was held in the RantinJy Hall last Friday. Mr D. M'Killop was ' re-elected president, and Mr 1 1 . Templeton secretary. Mr L. Pernam will be practice captain tor the year. It was decided to enter two teams in the com- ; petition—namely, a senior and junior. 1 Nasebv Club will be invited to send a I team down for a practise game on April I 14. I =======
