INTERPROVINCIAL EIGHTS.

WELLINGTON, March 13. The. Wellington Regatta Club has decided to increase the prize money awarded in connection with the interprovincial eights. - The first prize. has been increased from £25 to £3O, and a second of £lO will be given. If the championship fixture proves a financial success the club will consider contributing towards the expenses of the visiting crew. Mr R. G. Duncan has 1 been nominated as selector of the North Island crew, and Mr M. A. Turner of the South Island crew for the interisland eights.
