Fine weather with a moderate southeast wind and cloudy conditions was experienced to-day. The barometer is falling and registers 30.00 in. WELLINGTON, March 6.
A strong north-westerly wind blew throughout to-day. The weather was mostly cloudy but there was some sunshine during the afternoon. The-tempera-ture at 4 p.m. was 62.1, the maximum for the day being 08.3 in. CHRISTCHURCH, March 6. The weather was line but overcast in Christchurch to-day, with a northeasterly breeze. The barometer fell during the day and registered 29.55 in at 5 P-m. •■
