DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB

The monthly meeting of the Dunedin Jockey Club, held yesterday, was attended by Messrs A. C. Hanlon (in the chair), L. C. Hazlett. C. N. Draper, J. Mathowson, W. F. Edmond, A. Barnett, W. J. Coughlan. B. S. Ivwin, and Dr Bntchelor. Mr W. Garrett was elected to the committee to fill the vacancy caused by tne resignation of Mr E. H. Lough. A letter was received from the New Zealand Racing Conference advising that the Executive Committee would in future review all reports received in connection with foul riding and would enforce appropriate penalties for interference in the running of races. A report was received from the Works Committee that the work of re-roofing and renovating the middle stand had been commenced.
