A block of luxury flats, which will occupy' three acres of ground, and contain 360 flats and 30 shops, is planned to be erected at Hammersmith, London. It is expected to be the largest single block of flats in Europe. There will be a private automobile roadway running under one side of the flats, according to the architect's design, and tenants will be able to shop in comfort without going outside the building. Over 1000 men will be emploved on the building, which will cost, it ig estimated, £500,000.
