FORESTERS

The fortnightly meeting of Court Enterprise Lodge was held on Tuesday last. C.R. Bro. Miller presided, all the officers being present, together with a good number of members. A letter of condolence was sent to a brother who had just lost his wife. A donation waa also sent to the brother to assist him through his great loss as he had been in the Order onlyfive months and was not entitled to the funeral benefit. Bro. J. Patton reported on the Visit to Court St. Andrew. Bro. Brettell reported very fully on the meetings regarding the centenary ball and picnic. Bros. J. Patton and Mercer also spoke. It was decided by the court to grant Bro. Brettell the use of anything he required for decorations, etc., for the ball. Two new propositions were received for next court night. It was decided that Bro. T. Mason should act on the Picnic Committee in place of Bro. Cockburn, who would be away from town during the celebrations. The following were selected as the official representatives for the court at the banquet:—-P.C.R.'s Bros. Hogg, M'Leod, Mercer, M'Naughton, E. Johnson, and Bro. J. Stenhouse. The following were selected to act at the ball:—P.C.R.'s Bro. W. M. Hogg, A. M'Leod, Mercer, G. Edwards,, and Bros. Miller and W. H. Patton. The election of the Surplus Committee took place, the old committee being returned with one exception, that of P.C.R. Bro. D. Mercer, who took the place of Bro. W. Jolly.
